I wanted to try out a method of making infinite 3d-worlds by repeating the level, and that way keeping the FPS up while still maintaining a feeling of a large world. Made a little testworld, speed-modeled a Wipeout-looking space ship, added some movement and keyboard-controls. Tada. Of course you could use this technique to make large repeating levels with some more variation and randomness.
Try it out by clicking on the image above or use this link:http://hem.bredband.net/b483353/infinite/index.html

Hi there, I noticed your blog on the papervision3d mailling list, and I wanted to say that, this is a very nice little demo. It shows how nice flash and papervision3d can be.
keep up the good work, I will be trying out papervision soon, and I will probably start a blog as well.

I am looking into making wipeout like racing game in PV3D
do you think it will be possible ?
this demo seems pretty slow, but that’s maybe because you put slow speed on ship
can you maybe put speed slider for ship for a test
sorry to bother

would you be willing to post your source, or at least the collision code?
